Samuel Looney

 

Samuel Looney was born about 1751. His parents were Robert Looney, Jr. and Margaret Rhea.

His wife was named Nancy Lane.

Moses Looney (1775),
Samuel Looney, Jr. (1776, married Sarah Childress), and
Sarah Looney (1777).

In 1777 Samuel the 1777 Petition of Holston Men.

Samuel, Sr. was killed by indigenous warriors.

After his death, Nancy married Elijah Cross.

The Holston River flows from Kingsport to Knoxville.
